POLIBLOG

POLLIWOG (Tadpole): the early stage of an animal that will eventually become a frog, hoping to be kissed by a princess, turning into a prince! POLIBLOG (Political Blog): the early stage of a center-right political blog that may eventually become a full blown blog of the center-right. Join in if you find any merit in the comments. If you are on the left and disagree, feel free to straighten me out! Who knows, with effort from all of us this blog may turn into a prince!

FLORIDA'S RIGHT TO CARRY LAW

Steve Chapman explains how more liberal (little "l"!) state laws toward defensive use of guns and the right to carry them has the left spinning out of control handing out flyers to visitors asking them not to get into arguments with locals as they may be shot!

Fact is, the new laws have reduced crime, as they do wherever they are implemented. Why so difficult for the left to look at these statistics?

MIERS - AN INTERESTING PERSPECTIVE

Hugh Hewitt received an email which summarizes the irrationality of our elitist right pundits (Who'd of thought!!!).

Only thing that I've learned over the last two weeks is that elitism is a disgusting disease that cannot be self-diagnosed. But it has certainly put some perspective on pundits for whom I had great respect three weeks ago!

I want to make sure they all read their columns and listen to their radio/TV rants after the 2006 election, because they are sure affecting it.

THE KERFUFFLE ON THE RIGHT

Hey, Conservatives - do you realize you sound just like the Liberals who attacked W's first nominee to the Supreme Court(SCOTUS)? Dwell for a munute on the following from beldar.org:

  • "And the Constitution does, after all, give him the nomination power — not "the White House," not "the Republican Party," nor "conservatives generally," nor even "us'n who put him back into office.""

Chill out and let the system work. Haven't you figured out that he knows what he is doing?
