Pope Benedict XVI
Hearing the spin from the MSM yesterday regarding Pope Benedicts encyclical "Caritas in Veritate" and their view that it asks for a "world govenment" - at least this is what I thought I heard from them and I did not sleep well last night! - I was pleased to see this analysis from John Boehner and Thaddeus McCotter today.
"In the encyclical, the Pope stresses that the human being must remain as the center of our free-market system. He warns that individuals, families, churches, communities, and businesses must never become subservient to the state. He emphasizes that the sanctity of all human life must always be protected. And he advocates conservation, not radical environmentalism."
I hope the Catholics look into the encyclical a bit deeper than the MSM!
