Here is the statement by Senator Barbara Boxer on the resignation of Sandra Day O'Connor. The fact she includes the litmus test of "pro-choice" in her statement gives you an idea of her level of ability to represent Californians! Do you really want ideological litmus tests for our Supreme Court? Ridiculous.

Perhaps after you pop out a few babies you can hold an INFORMED opinion on abortion. Why is it that you right wingers insist on the government being involved in a medical decision that should be between just the woman and her doctor.

I understand your comment and we could debate that sometime, but what does it have to do with my post?
Do you really want to start using ideological litmus tests to screen judicial appointees? I think you should think that through, not just for abortion, but for any litmus test. Judicial appointees must uphold the law, their personal opinions should not be part of the screening.
