but it wasn't as easy as it should have been. Problem was the exit polls in the early part of the day showing Kerry as a clear winner. Could it be there was some hanky-panky going on by Dem operatives?

Dick Morris and Michael Barone both suggest that this was the case. This makes W's win even more impressive! Mr. Morris points out that exit polls, done properly, are the most accurate polls you can have, since they are based on actual voters - not likely or registered. Makes sense to me, and seems to support his theory.

Kerry to concede in another hour or so, and it will be over. Dems must re-evaluate their positions for the run in 2008. Let's hope they do it with gusto so we can get back to positive politics in our country!
